TEMP-AIR Provides H-T Options

Temp-Air offers the pallet industry a variety of options for heat-treating wood packaging materials, making it easier and more cost effective to adhere to standards passed by the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC).
With the Temp-Air system, any enclosed structure can become a heat chamber, no matter the size.
Temp-Air’s Standard System Includes:

- Circulation blowers
- Portable temperature recorder and data logger
- Digital probes to measure temperatures in the core of the wood
- Computer software to download temperatures and customer information
- Set-up, equipment training and troubleshooting
- License to use the Temp-Air patented process

Temp-Air’s patented process draws 100% outside air through heaters to create a positive pressure in the enclosed structure.
Temp-Air systems are versatile, with the ability to maintain or reduce moisture while heat-treating wood packaging to IPPC requirements. The total package has everything a company requires to obtain heat-treatment certification.
Temp-Air offers multiple system applications and all have been tested to meet IPPC export requirements. Heat chambers are available in a variety of sizes, and Temp-Air has the ability to customize a treatment application. Emergency support is available from trained Temp-Air service technicians, and training and support is available in order to obtain heat-treatment certification.
Temp-Air’s customers include Martin Brothers Container in Tennessee and Southland Manufacturing in Kentucky. The time to heat is approximately two to three hours for 10,000 board feet of hardwood lumber."
