Propane Heat Remediation Ideal for Organic Farmers
By Laura McNamara - AgWired.com - September 12, 2007
Dr. Raj Hulasare is featured on Agwired.com - a news source for the world of Agribusiness. In an interview with Laura McNamara, he discusses his presentation to the 2007 Texas Propane Technology Forum held on September 12, 2007, entitled, "Propane Heat Remediation Ideal for Organic Farmers."
The presentation focused on how propane heat remediation is an ideal solution for treating bins, silos, and other storage vessels for pests. More specifically, Dr. Hulasare spoke on how propane heat remediation is a particularly viable option for certified organic farms, which are restricted from using many chemicals to treat their stored crops.
The Texas Propane Technology Forum remained international in scope, and its goals remained unchanged: to showcase innovative LPG technologies that will build propane sales, and to foster discussion of new technologies among marketers, users, manufacturers and research organizations. Attendees learned about a broad range of new residential, agricultural, commercial, and industrial technologies and met the engineers and entrepreneurs who are developing and commercializing these new applications.
Sponsors of the 2007 Texas Propane Technology Forum included: AFRED/Railroad Commission of Texas, ASOCIMEX (Mexican LP-Gas Association), Propane Education & Research Council, Southwest Research Institute, and the World LP-Gas Association.
