The newly redesigned EBB-460V (2nd Generation) Electric Bed Bug Heater offers enhanced performance - delivering more air for a faster temperature rise in the treated space.

Nearly 100 pounds lighter and 10 inches narrower than its predecessor, the EBB-460V produces 7000 watts at 2,400 cubic feet per minute (CFM) of heated air.  Also equipped with lockable, swivel casters, the updated unit allows applicators easier maneuverability through narrow doorways and landings.

The EBB-460V is standard in the trailer, expanded and house power equipment packages.  In a typical treatment, these heaters are placed within the space and recirculate the heated air for maximum efficiency.

The 4-heater power distribution box is brought inside the space to distribute power to the heaters.  A single main power cable runs from the generator to the distribution box, splitting the power for up to (4) EBB-460V heaters.

Main power cables are used to connect the generator to the distribution box and can connect up to a distance of 800 feet.  These 460V / 50 Amp 6/4 main power cables come in 50’-75’ lengths.  (Recommended length due to cable weight.

A heater patch cable connects the power from the distribution box to each EBB-460V heater and can connect to a distance up to 300 feet per heater.  These 460V / 20 amp cables come in sizes of 25 feet, 50 feet, and 75 feet.

The 460V 6/4 4-foot whip makes the connection to a rental generator or your own 460V / 3 ph power source.

The EBB-115V Electric Bed Bug Heater is standard in the EBB-115V Hotel Package.  This unit can also be an excellent addition to enhance treatment times, using house power, in conjunction with the EBB-40KW Trailer Package.  This heater requires (6)-15 amp circuits for maximum BTU output.  (Not all 6 circuits needed to operate).

The 120 Volt 12/3 High Visibility Extension Cords are used as the main power cable to supply 120-volt power to the EBB-115V heater.  Available in 25’ and 50’ lengths. (Distance of 12/3 cord should not exceed 75’ per run).

The 220V complete power distribution box kit can be used to tap into 220V power from a range or stove to provide the (6)-15 amp circuits of 115-volt power required for the EBB-115V heater.  The complete kit includes a distribution box, a 25’ main power cable, and 220V/50 amp dryer and range power cord adapters (both new and old style for a total of 4 adapters).

Real-time, graphical temperature monitoring is an integral part of the Thermal Remediation heat treatment process of bringing heat, moving air, and monitoring temperatures.

The expandable, wireless temperature monitoring system includes a Netbook installed with proprietary temperature recording software, wireless signal devices for transmission up to 1,000 ft., and up to 100 wireless temperature sensors, all housed in a heavy duty, water and impact resistant case.

The system's data can be used to identify hot and cold spots in the treated area and regulate and control hot air distribution.  Data can be exported to assure customers that overheating did not occur and verify that target temperatures were achieved.

The Fluke digital handheld infrared thermometer offers quick and reliable surface temperature readings. This unit can be used to check specific points of interest during the heat treatment.

Use the Fluke thermocouple wire thermometer with J-Wire to monitor temperatures under carpet edges, wall voids, electrical outlets, and pipes, etc.

These custom designed, high temperature Multifans provide a high CFM with low amp draw and operate well in high temperatures. These fans are necessary to evenly distribute heated air throughout the space and target high infestation zones and contents like furniture and bedding. Available in 16” (2.6 amps, 3294 CFM) and 20” (3.7 amps, 4,765 CFM) sizes.

The 16" Multifan adapter attachment is used to direct heat at target areas. This adapter also accepts the 20” high temperature ducting. Includes 4 spring clamps per fan.

The 20” high temperature fabric duct transition attaches to the 16” Multifan Adapter to accept all 20” high temperature ducting.

High temperature fabric ducting can be attached to the 16” Multifan (using the adapter and transition) to manage and distribute heated air.  Made of fire-resistant materials, and available in various lengths.

        AirWalls can be used to isolate an area that will not be heated or partition off areas that will be heated in a progression. The 6’x10’ AirWall works great in stairwells and hallways, while the 10’ x 10’ AirWall can isolate areas like a kitchen, living room, family room, etc. Both sizes of AirWalls can be zipped together to build false walls or isolate larger spaces. The AirWall requires a 16” Multifan, adapter, 20” transition, and 20” high temperature ducting.

The wall edge duct is designed to focus heat on wall edges, baseboards, and carpet tacks, etc. The Wall Edge Duct requires a 16” Multifan, adapter, and 20” transition.  Made of fire-resistant materials.

Protective covers and used to protect heaters from rain, snow, and debris. This accessory also protects the units from scratching corners, edges, walls, doors, etc. during the move in process.

Sprinkler Head Covers protect fire suppression systems (sprinklers) and heat sensors from hot air. Constructed of highly insulated foam, the sprinkler head covers easily attach to a ceiling mounted sprinkler with a pull cord.

Door Sweep Seals are used to block air infiltration from under door jams. (Cut to size, and replace foam pipe insulation as necessary.)

Reflective Insulation is used to cover vents and air conditioners to prevent cool air infiltration during a heat treatment.  Insulation can also be used to isolate spaces and cover hard-to-heat cement, etc. Available in 48” x 25’ rolls.

Cable clamps are used to properly gather and protect 115V extension cords or attach fan cords to top handle of fans for proper storage.

It’s very important to have a high quality flashlight for inspection during the treatment process. The Stealthlite is a rugged, indestructible, water-resistant flashlight with a light beam that can cut through water, smoke, fog, and rain. Rechargeable NiHM battery pack included.

Physical removal of bed bugs with a Pest Vac is highly encouraged during the initial heat up process between temperatures of 100-120ºF when bed bugs emerge from their hiding places.

The IPM Vacuum comes standard with a HEPA cartridge filter, 9-foot clear safe hose, 19-inch rubber flexible gooseneck, a crack and crevice tool, two 20-inch extension wands, a 25-foot power cord, and a shoulder strap. All accessories fit neatly in the compartment under the lid. Weighs 11 lbs and runs on 115V .

Use poly tape to seal windows, vents, and gaps to protect the space from air infiltration. This high quality tape will not leave a glue residue after being heated.
