Dr. Raj Hulasare

Raj Hulasare, Ph.D., P. Eng.

Thermal Remediation® Senior Scientist & Product Manager

Dr. Raj Hulasare has more than 20 years of experience in processing, handling, and preservation of stored products and structures. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Engineering from India and received his Masters and Doctoral degrees in Biosystems Engineering from the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada. Dr. Hulasare has conducted several joint research projects with multidisciplinary teams in Canada and the USA in the areas of grain quality preservation and post harvest storage technologies. He also worked on modified atmospheres, and other non-chemical methods to control stored product pests during his stints at Oklahoma State University and Purdue University before joining TEMP-AIR in May 2006.

At TEMP-AIR, Dr. Hulasare oversees heat treatment of Industrial plants (full scale and partial/spot treatments), warehouses and storage structures. He also leads the research efforts of TEMP-AIR on the efficacy of heat to control bed bugs and stored product pests in the food processing industry. TEMP-AIR recently concluded a bed bug research project with Dr. Kells at University of Minnesota, which was funded by the Propane Education Research Council (PERC).  TEMP-AIR is currently (2009-2010) collaborating with PERC and Kansas State University on a project entitled “Demonstration of Heat Treatment as a Viable Methyl Bromide Alternative for Disinfesting Grain-processing Facilities" under a grant from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Thermal Remediation® National Sales Manager

Before joining TEMP-AIR in 2006, Greg Grabow owned a disaster restoration franchise with services ranging from structural fire, water, smoke, and mold remediation.  Additionally, as a pest control professional he received his Minnesota Dept. of Agriculture "Structural Pest Control" and "Fumigator" licenses. Mr. Grabow holds an A.A. degree in education as well as a vast amount of training in sales and customer service. He has 12 years of combined active & reserve service with the United States Army, and is a veteran of Desert Storm 1991.

At TEMP-AIR, Greg Grabow manages the sales team, customer support, and training efforts of the bed bug heat treatment equipment. He has helped research and develop various configurations of electric bed bug treatment systems and treatment protocol.   Mr. Grabow has done extensive research with and has trained personnel in the hospitality industry, pest control industry, property management groups, and universities throughout the United States.

Edward Locascio

Thermal Remediation® Application Specialist

Edward Locascio has been with TEMP-AIR for over 25 years, with previous experience as a Senior Technical Field Representative specializing in heating applications for the construction industry.  He has coordinated temporary HVAC for construction projects like the Best Buy world headquarters and thousands of other projects across the Midwest.  In 2008 Mr. Locascio transferred to the Thermal Remediation® group and uses his many years of experience to train pest control professionals, hotels and motels, universities, and property management groups on bed bug heat treatment protocol.  Edward also assists with the heat treatment of industrial plants, storage structures, and warehouses.  Mr. Locascio is a U.S. Navy veteran and served as a machinist repairing nuclear submarines before joining TEMP-AIR.

Thermal Remediation® Sales Assistant

Jean Boehmke joined TEMP-AIR in 1999 and has 10 years of experience in sales support and customer service for their rental division.  Additionally, Jean has been a trainer in those areas and for the TEMP-AIR inventory management and accounting software.  In 2008 Jean transferred to the Thermal Remediation® group and now heads pallet heat treatment equipment sales and support while assisting in all areas of bed bug treatment equipment sales.
